Arrivals…
To ensure a smooth start to your program, we recommend arriving before 4:00 PM. Between 6:30 AM and 4:00 PM, IE representatives will be waiting for you at your arrival terminal and will accompany you to Segovia by bus.
If you arrive after 4:00 PM, please note that you will need to arrange your own transportation to Segovia. You can contact our trusted taxi driver for the Madrid- Segovia Trip via WhatsApp: +34 610 783 793.
If you are already in Madrid, we recommend arriving at Madrid-Barajas Airport at 3:00 PM to minimize waiting time and proceed directly to the bus. However, if you need to arrive earlier for any reason, our team will be at the airport to assist you.
Please note that a minimum of 40 students is required for the bus to depart. If your flight arrives very early and you prefer not to wait at the airport, you may arrange your own transfer to Segovia by taxi or Uber. Our team in Segovia will be ready to welcome you upon arrival.
Adolfo Suarez - Barajas Airport
If you plan to meet us directly in Segovia, please go to the following address at 3:00 PM.
The Factory Residence
Calle vargas 17 - 40003 sEGOVIA
Departures...
We recommend you book a flight after 4:00 PM. This way you will be able to participate in the final presentations and graduation event.
Are there no flights available after 4:00 PM? Don’t worry, we will take you to the airport before!
Communication During the Program:
This year we're launching our official IE Summer School App.
This app will be your main communication hub during the program. Students and parents will receive an invitation through email two weeks prior to the start of the program.
Through this platform, parents will be able to complete all mandatory forms and share important information such as travel details, dietary restrictions, and medical requirements.
Students will also be able to explore the app in advance and get familiar with it before arrival.
As a student you’ll use this tool to:
- Communicate with coaches during the program
- View daily schedules and activity details
- Receive real-time announcements and updates
- Access important resources throughout the program
As a parent you’ll use this tool to:
- Complete the compulsory pre-arrival onboarding
- Receive daily photos during the program
- Quickly access emergency contacts
- View important resources and program information
Meet Your Peers Before You Arrive...
We’ve created Slack groups for each program edition so you can start getting to know your peers before the program begins. Please make sure to join the group for your specific edition.
During the program, however, please note that the main communication tool will be the IE Summer School app.
Graduation Invitation
The last day of the program, families are warmly invited to attend the Graduation Ceremony if they are planning to travel to Spain.
This special event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the students’ achievements and share an unforgettable moment together.
Program dates, times, and the registration form will be shared closer to the start date.

Forms
There are several mandatory forms that must be completed by your legal guardians as soon as you receive the invitation to the IE Summer School App two weeks before the program starts.
These forms are very important to ensure a safe and smooth program experience.
All forms can be accessed and submitted directly through the IE Summer School App.
Spanish Classes
The IE Summer School offers optional Spanish classes for students who don’t speak Spanish and want to enhance their two-week experience.
Let’s make sure flamenco, tapas, and siesta aren’t the only Spanish words you know!
If you’re interested, be sure to register through the Summer School app two weeks before the program begins.

GET READY
Recommendations
Weather — It Will Be Hot!
Segovia, being farther north, stays relatively cooler. However, Madrid can get very hot in June and July, so pack accordingly and be prepared for warm summer temperatures throughout your stay.
Credit Cards
The program is all inclusive so you’ll rarely need to pay for anything. However, on days when we go shopping or visit Warner Park, you may want to make personal purchases, so remember to come ready! Whenever possible, we recommend using credit cards or Apple/Google Pay instead of cash, as they are more secure and widely accepted.
SIM Card
While it is not mandatory, having a SIM card or eSIM is highly recommended, especially if you plan to stay in Spain before or after the program. You can explore various eSIM options. HolaFly is a good and reliable choice. Remember to ensure your device is compatible.
If your phone does not support eSIMs, and time allows, our team will be happy to assist you in purchasing a local SIM card upon arrival at the airport.
